DOMA DANCE THEATER

Doma Dance Theater creates original dance works for the stage and screen that explore the body as a tangible site of culture.

Their powerful works offer a potent invitation to rediscover the unrecognized histories embedded in each of us in an ongoing search for the elusive feeling of home.

This event with artist Alexandra Bodnarchuk will focus on her artistic practice, in which dance and film serve as a means to explore memory, relationships, and Rusyn heritage.

We invite artists needing concentrated, unrestricted, settled time in one place to make our studio your chyža. Possible intentions are (but not limited to) cleaning work, long rehearsals, set development, prop work, pre-tech research, low tech preproduction, small showings, micro intensives, solo research, etc.
